The aim of this Group is to foster a sense of community amongst ASET members, firstly by ensuring ASET’s offer is clear, and secondly by facilitating the sharing of knowledge and good practice in the field of work-related and placement learning. (Terms of Reference). Work will be task-focussed and around the following themes:
Generating ideas for the e-bulletin, news items and new ways of connecting our members to each other is a key responsibility of this group, as is the development and promotion of ASET’s on-line presence, through the website, LinkedIn and Twitter. The Group will provide a forum for all ASET members to be able to contribute to these and other developments via face-to-face, digital and virtual discussion.
Whilst the Group will aim to meet in person at least once a year (probably during the annual ASET conference early September) the majority of work will be done by email and virtual meetings, with priorities agreed by the Executive Committee. Due to the broad remit of the Group it is likely that the formation of sub-groups will be necessary so if you have a particular interest or strength around any of the Group’s themes then please do get in touch with the convenors, Becky Jones and Jo Eaton
