
Higher Level Degree and Graduate Apprenticeships are part of the widening offer of Work Based and Placement Learning (WBPL), they are important in bringing together academic theory and workplace practice, where the learner is employee first and student second. This growing initiative is integrated into wider governmental skills strategies intended to support future economic growth.
This session will present the current and emerging landscape of Apprenticeships and placements within higher education provision, presenting the apprentice practice takeaways and how placement practices can learn from apprenticeships. Participants will also understand what employers are doing within their apprentice-placement student continuum.
