This policy landscape is prompting HEPs to explore the flexible provision of formal education to impact on a broader range of learners. Micro-credentials are emerging as one innovative solution to diversifying Higher Education provision.
This session will explore how the Higher Education sector is starting to define micro-credentials in the UK and to present examples of how to develop micro-credentials that adhere to the principles outlined in the QAA (2022) Characteristic Statement on Micro-credentials.
