DESCRIPTION:This training session will specifically focus on ASET Insights and Staff Development for Associates interested in supporting the delivery of ASET’s popular continuing professional development (CPD) programme. \nASET Associates are work based and placement learning practitioners and academics currently working at member institutions who volunteer their time to support ASET with the delivery of the charity’s Vision\, Mission and Values. Our pool of ASET Associates receive regular training and meet three to four times per year to consider the requirements of the organisation. \nWe recruit to our pool of Associates as required by the needs of the charity and will notify members of recruitment via our newsletter. DESCRIPTION:60-minute online session: Student Bursaries: How to apply & what we look for \nJoin ASET trustee and Chair of the ASET Research Specialist Group\, Dr Helen Hooper\, for this one hour bitesize session looking at the ASET bursaries and how to build a strong application. \nASET bursaries are competitive opportunities for member institutions to carry out work based and placement learning research. The bursary funds a current undergraduate\, master’s student or recent graduate to carry out a project of your choice at your institution. You will be supported during the project by an ASET Trustee. ASET have funded bursaries since 2012. \nBursary recipients will receive £3750 to work on the project\, which should be the equivalent of 40 days/300 hours of work. Upon successful submission of the final report\, £750 will be awarded to your institution as a contribution towards expenses incurred for the Supervisor to attend ASET Conference \nWithin this one hour session we’ll consider what makes an application successful\, giving you the chance to submit your strongest possible submission ahead of an application closing date of 24th February 2025. \nCost\n£50 for ASET members\n£100 for non-member \nBook Now
