This training session explores experiential learning and it’s application by considering case studies from institutions who have embedded different work based and placement learning approaches within the curriculum. Broadening a student or employer’s options beyond the traditional framework of a placement year and scaffolding work based and placement learning opportunities within the curriculum to meet the varied needs of a diverse student population. \nInsights\, employer projects\, practice placements and experiential learning all offer students the opportunity to develop skills and consider their academic learning in the context of future careers to complement institutional graduate outcomes.
