Our Practice and Research Network is a community organised through our LinkedIn pages, which facilitates discussion, collaboration and sharing of work. The Network meets twice in the academic year, once at Conference, and again in the Spring, where colleagues come together to disseminate findings and identify more work that can be undertaken. To contribute to, and learn from, the Network, simply join the LinkedIn group and then select the Network area, everyone from a member institution is welcome. Here you can ask questions and exchange practice with others carrying out research into Work based and Placement Learning from across the UK .
Spring ’23 PRN Meeting
The 2023 ASET Practice and Research Network (PRN) event was held on Thursday 2nd March 2023 10am to 12noon. Once again it was an ideal opportunity for members to share their practice and research with others in a friendly and supportive environment, and a broad range of presentations were shared, including early-stage research. The meeting took the form of a Practice and Research Showcase where a pre-planned number of participants delivered 5-minute presentations using only 3 slides, and shared in joint Q&A sessions and follow up discussion.
This event is a key members’ benefit and was Free of Charge to ASET members, with ALL welcome to attend – not just those presenting. This years event welcomed more than 45 attendees. Download 2023 Research Showcase Report
