This ASET workshop will take an in-depth look at integrating high quality experiential learning and work based and placement learning (WBPL) opportunities into the curriculum. Within this session delegates will consider different types of WBPL, along with models and choice available when embedding within the curriculum. This will allow you to identify your own HEI strategic need and how to link opportunities that align effectively.
This workshop is aimed at experienced work based and placement learning practitioners; work placement managers, officers, and academic placement tutors who are leading and supporting with embedding opportunities into the academic curriculum. Within the session we will consider and reflect on assessment, skill articulation and data to support outcomes as well as help delegates to develop the knowledge and agency to support conversations that encourage embedding experiential learning and WBPL in the curriculum.
