ASET Insight – Gaining Fellowship of Advance HE

Fellowship of Advance HE (AFHEA, FHEA, SFHEA, PFHEA) can be achieved by all colleagues who teach or support student learning in HE.  Fellowship of Advance HE is increasingly commonly listed as Desirable criteria in job adverts, ASET is positioned to support members in maximising their experiences for professional recognition.

 This insight will review the dimensions of Advance HE’s Professional Standards Framework 2023 (PSF2023) and discuss examples of practice drawn from typical professional services teaching and learning support activities that could form the basis of a fellowship application.  The session will be led by Dr Helen Hooper, an ASET Trustee and Chair of our Research Specialist Group who has led training for colleagues at her own institution to achieve fellowship of Advance HE.
