60-minute online Insight session – Suicide Safer Placements

DfE has published the largest-ever national review into student suicides in higher education, examining over 160 cases of suspected suicide or self-harm during the 2023/24 academic year.  This session will present one institution’s approach to benchmarking it’s practice and taking a continuous improvement approach to suicide prevention strategies in the placement student population.  The presenter will share some of the improved models of practice the institution is now using, applied specifically during the placement year life-cycle.
