Sam is the Placement Development Lead and Graduate Apprenticeship Mentor Consultant at Robert Gordon University’s Centre for Employability and Community Engagement, supporting students, schools, and organisations in delivering work-based learning programmes.
He is experienced in designing, delivering, and supporting assessed work placements and consultancy projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the UK and overseas. Recently, he has had degree apprenticeships added to his portfolio, with him leading the support and development of the organisation mentors on the university’s apprenticeship programmes.
Sam is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Sam was voted onto the ASET executive at ASET’s AGM in September 2023 after previously serving as a co-opt. He co-leads the Membership and Communications Working Group.
