Bespoke Training:
The ASET bespoke training offer is perfect for members looking to upskill an entire team or for those with a specific staff development need.
A bespoke session could be one of our existing workshops, selected elements from a few workshops or something new tailored to your institutional context.
Consultancy Services:
We also offer consultancy services to meet your wider work based and placement learning (WBPL) needs. This could include undertaking institutional or service-based research, carrying out a review or completing a project for your institution.

The Placements Administration Service at Cardiff Met worked with Debbie and Anna to deliver a bespoke training session to us all on campus in June 2024. We’re a centralised placements service operating across many statutory and non-statutory programmes and I wanted a productive and engaging team event to cap off a busy year and help us prepare for the future. It was great working with Debbie and Anna on identifying what we could get out of the experience, different content options, and how this could be delivered. It was very easy arranging timings, course materials, and I was very grateful for their suggestions and flexibility.
On the day, Anna delivered a brilliant session, engaging and involving all colleagues. I had good feedback from the team who particularly valued the interactive and collaborative exercises, the spaces for reflection and discussion, and we left the day with some further actions and future considerations.
The day was really useful and has given us several ways forwards as an institution and it has reinvigorated our processes… the session gave actual answers.
A well delivered event. Created an environment in which interactions were readily encouraged – everyone had the opportunity to contribute, great for the team, and no travel for us.
