Associates

ASET Associates are work based and placement learning practitioners and academics currently working at member institutions who volunteer their time to support ASET with the delivery of the charity’s Vision, Mission and Values.

Associates get involved in a variety of ways and support ASET Specialist Groups:

Staff Development

Design and deliver insights and training. Input can vary – from 20-30min case study input within an existing or new workshop to full Insight design and delivery depending on knowledge, expertise, and interest.

Research

Undertake research into WBPL on behalf of ASET and to feed into ASET publications (Viewpoints, Community Knowledge Exchanges or press releases). Could be individual or as a group/cross institution.

Membership and Communications

Inform ASET’s membership offer and support the organisation’s communications by offering a focus on the ‘member voice’.

Our pool of ASET Associates receive regular training and meet three to four times per year to consider the requirements of the organisation. Each year Associates who have contributed towards the Vision, Mission and Values of the charity will be recognised here with details of the year they were involved and the activity they supported.

We are extremely grateful to all our volunteers and would like to explicitly thank them here – Thank-you ASET Associates!
